Why Are You Excited About AdieCon
Ada Dev Academy cultivates some of the most brilliant engineers in the tech industry thanks to the support of its allies, staff and the community. The Ada alumni possess a unique combination of diverse backgrounds, grit, and raw talent. The allies of Ada are some of the most brilliant and empathetic people who truly care about making the industry better. I am excited for AdieCon because it gives the community a chance to come together so we can all learn and grow and be inspired thanks to the brilliant speakers who are set to share their knowledge.

Why Are You Excited About AdieCon
Entering the industry is the real beginning of our journey to change the face of tech. It's exciting but also daunting to many of us. With this event, we can finally unite everyone who cares about Ada's mission and make more impact by sharing personal experience and supporting each other.

Why Are You Excited About AdieCon
Ada is a Seattle institution and this is an awesome opportunity to bring together the community of Adies, Alum and allies to celebrate the successes so far and to further grow awareness and appreciation of the work / contributions that everyone puts in. Personally looking forward to everyone sharing their experiences and knowledge with the wider community and providing inspiration for others!

How You're Helping
One half of Team Do It. :)
I helped iron out details for our fiscal vehicle, source a venue, organized call for proposals, gathered the panelists, set up ticket sales, catering, make website cute, talk to people about AdieCon and probably other things I have since forgotten about.
Why Are You Excited About AdieCon
I am so excited to see this idea become a reality, and I am incredibly grateful to this community. I stand on the shoulders of giants who have lifted me up and supported me within tech: being so privileged, it is the least I can do to help make space for others.

How You're Helping
I have been helping with overall project planning
and execution - the other half of "Team Do It".
I have focused on sponsorships and making sure we have everything we need to make this event a success not just for 2020, but for years to come!
Why Are You Excited About AdieCon
I really believe in the power of this network! Ada alums have achieved so much already, learning to code and getting into the tech industry. I want all of us to continue to have opportunities to build careers that are rewarding and meaningful. I think we can help each other build these careers.
I keep visualizing what AdieCon could be in 10 years; a room full of hundreds of diverse, senior engineers, managers, CTOs, founders and who knows what else. I want AdieCon to be a place where we continue helping, encouraging and teaching each other; sharing the highs and the lows of this journey together.
